DFIM Circular Letter No. 03: Office hours of finance companies during the Holy Month of Ramadan (Hijri 1447)
The document establishes the office hours for all finance companies operating in Bangladesh during the Holy Month of Ramadan (Hijri 1447/2026). Offices are open from Sunday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a break for Zuhr prayer from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM; Fridays and Saturdays are weekly holidays. Office hours revert to the pre-Ramadan schedule immediately after the month concludes, pursuant to Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Companies Act, 2023.

The office hours for all finance companies operating in Bangladesh during the Holy Month of Ramadan (Hijri 1447 / 2026 AD) are determined as follows:
Working Days Office Hours Sunday to Thursday 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Including a break for Zuhr prayer from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM) Friday and Saturday Weekly Holiday

After the Holy Month of Ramadan concludes, office hours will revert to the pre-Ramadan schedule.

This directive is issued under the powers conferred by Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Companies Act, 2023.
