Dear Sir,

Subject: Regarding 'Population and Housing Census 2022'.

In order to implement the commitment of building a Digital Bangladesh, the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, through the Department of Statistics and Information Management under the Ministry of Planning, has decided to conduct the tenth, biennial, sixth 'Population and Housing Census 2022' nationwide from June 15, 2022, to June 21, 2022, by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS).

2. In order to successfully conduct the aforementioned census and to ensure the smooth implementation of this large-scale program including the confirmation of the participation of all citizens of the country, you are hereby directed to ensure active participation in the census, provide information, and provide necessary assistance.

3. This directive is issued under the powers conferred by Section 18(c) of the Financial Institutions Act, 1993.
