DFIM Circular Letter No. 12: On the occasion of Eid ul-Adha the finance companies will remain closed on 11 and 12 June 2025 and open on 17 May 2025 and 24 May 2025.
Finance companies in Bangladesh are required to keep all business centers, branches, and booths closed on Wednesday, 11 June 2025, and Thursday, 12 June 2025, due to the Eid ul-Adha public holiday. Additionally, these entities must remain open on Saturday, 17 May 2025, and Saturday, 24 May 2025, which are designated as weekly off-days for official work. This directive is issued under the authority granted by Section 41(2)(d) of the Finance Companies Act, 2023.

Regarding the instruction to keep offices open on Saturday, 17 May 2025, and Saturday, 24 May 2025, which are weekly off-days for official work, and the closure on Wednesday, 11 June 2025, and Thursday, 12 June 2025, which are public holidays, on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid ul-Adha.
In accordance with the Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.006.23-252 (copy attached) dated 07 May 2025 of the Ministry of Public Administration, all business centers, branches, and booths of Finance Companies will remain closed on Wednesday, 11 June 2025, and Thursday, 12 June 2025, respectively, on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid ul-Adha, and will remain open on Saturday, 17 May 2025, and Saturday, 24 May 2025, which are weekly off-days for official work.
