To, Chief Executive/Managing Directors, All Financial Institutions and Scheduled Banks operating in Bangladesh

Dear Sir,

Regarding the surrender of the license of Financial Institution 'Nagad Finance PLC.'

This is to inform you that, with the approval of the competent authority, permission was granted for the surrender of the license (No. DFIM(L)/42, Date: 14/05/2023) of the financial institution 'Nagad Finance PLC.' through the reference number DFIM(L)105/105/2023-2632 dated 27 July 2023 of the Department of Financial Institutions and Markets. The aforementioned license shall be considered invalid from the date of issuance of the said approval order.

A copy of the gazette notification No. DFIM(L)105/105/2023-2935 issued by Bangladesh Bank on 14 Bhadra 1430/29 August 2023 regarding this matter is attached herewith for information and necessary action.
