DOS Circular Letter No. 13: Closing of Scheduled Bank branches on 19/05/2014 and 21/05/2014 due to Upazila Parishad and Poroshaba Election
Scheduled banks must close all branches in specified electoral areas on Monday, 19 May 2014, to facilitate the sixth phase of elections for 12 Upazila Parishads and a by-election in Mymensingh, and on Wednesday, 21 May 2014, for the Boalkhali Pourashava election in Chittagong. This closure is mandated to allow bank employees and managers to exercise their voting rights and support the election process in the respective constituencies listed in the appendices.
