In the context of taking necessary measures to facilitate the exercise of voting rights by voters employed by banks located in establishments used as polling stations in the relevant electoral areas for the elections of the Comilla City Corporation, 06 Municipal Corporations, Upazila Parishads, and Union Parishads to be held on 15 June 2022.

Dear Sir,

In accordance with Gazette Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.17-114-Mo dated 09 June 2022 of the Ministry of Public Administration, regarding the elections of the Comilla City Corporation, 06 Municipal Corporations (Gopalganj and Muktarpur of Gopalganj District, Bishnawar of Sylhet District, Baghaichhari of Rangamati District, Meherpur of Meherpur District, and Jhenaidah of Jhenaidah District), Upazila Parishads, and Union Parishads (list attached), it is advised that if any branch/sub-branch of the bank is located in any establishment designated as a polling station or for election activities in the relevant electoral areas on 15 June 2022, the said branch/sub-branch should be kept closed. Furthermore, necessary measures should be taken to facilitate the exercise of voting rights by voters employed by your bank in the relevant electoral areas.
