DOS Circular Letter No. 19: Instructions to Facilitate Voting by Employees on 15 June 2022
The Department of Off-Site Supervision of the Central Bank of Bangladesh instructs all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh to close branches or sub-branches located in designated polling stations for the Comilla City Corporation, six municipal corporations, upazila parishads, and union parishad elections on 15 June 2022. This directive, issued pursuant to a gazette notification from the Ministry of Public Administration, aims to ensure that voters employed by these banks are able to exercise their voting rights without obstruction.
