Due to the abnormal rise in water levels in rivers in several districts including Sylhet, Sunamganj, Rangpur, and Kurigram, sudden floods have occurred. For those branches/sub-branches of your bank where normal banking operations are not possible due to flood-related reasons, instructions are hereby given to close the operations of such branches/sub-branches and make arrangements for customers to receive essential banking services from nearby branches. However, after the improvement of the flood situation, arrangements must be made to resume banking services from the concerned branches/sub-branches without delay.

This instruction is issued in the public interest under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
