Enhancement of License Renewal Fee for Money Changers (MCs)
The license renewal fee for Money Changers (MCs) is increased from Taka 5,000 to Taka 10,000. This revised non-refundable fee applies to all Authorized Dealers and Licensed Money Changers in Bangladesh. The instruction becomes effective on January 15, 2026, while other existing instructions regarding this matter remain unchanged.

FEPD-2 Circular Letter No: 01 Date: January 12, 2026 All Authorized Dealers and Licenced Money Changers in Bangladesh. Dear Sirs, Enhancement of License Renewal Fee for Money Changers (MCs) Please refer to FE Circular no. 03/2002; Date: 19/02/2002 in terms of which Money Changers were instructed to deposit Taka 5,000 (Five Thousand) as License renewal fee (nonrefundable) for a year. 02. It has now been decided to enhance the said fee to Taka 10,000 (Ten Thousand). 03. This instruction shall be effective from 15 th January, 2026. Other instructions in this regard shall remain unchanged. Please bring the contents of the circular to the notice of constituents concerned.
