Enhancement of License Renewal Fee for Money Changers (MCs)

The license renewal fee for Money Changers (MCs) is increased from Taka 5,000 to Taka 10,000. This revised non-refundable fee applies to all Authorized Dealers and Licensed Money Changers in Bangladesh. The instruction becomes effective on January 15, 2026, while other existing instructions regarding this matter remain unchanged.

Dear Sirs, Enhancement of License Renewal Fee for Money Changers (MCs) Please refer to FE Circular no. 03/2002; Date: 19/02/2002 in terms of which Money Changers were instructed to deposit Taka 5,000 (Five Thousand) as License renewal fee (nonrefundable) for a year.
02. It has now been decided to enhance the said fee to Taka 10,000 (Ten Thousand).
