Dear Sirs, Submission of application along with other documents through on-line for according permission under Section 18A of Foreign Exchange Regulation (FER) Act, 1947. Please refer to the FEID Circular Letter No. 05/2013 dated 03/04/2013 on the above mentioned subject. As per the instruction given in the above mentioned Circular Letter, for obtaining permission under Section 18A of the FER Act, 1947 Authorized Dealers (ADs) are required to submit application on behalf of their customers to work as local agent for their foreign principal(s) through on-line as well as prevailing system of hardcopy till 02/04/2014. After the expiry of this timeline, no application in hardcopy will be accepted; all applications along with relevant documents have to be submitted through on-line only. Considering the limitation of capability of some commercial banks, this timeline of submitting application through on-line as well as hardcopy is hereby extended by 06 (six) months i.e. up to 02/10/2014.
