FEPD Circular Letter No. 04: Performing Hajj 1446 Hizri/2025 under Private Management
The Foreign Exchange Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank instructs all approved dealer banks to ensure that Hajj agencies remit a service fee of 150,000.00 Bangladeshi Taka in Saudi Riyals to the agency owner or authorized representative in Saudi Arabia for each registered Hajj pilgrim for the 1446 Hijri/2025 season. This directive is issued in accordance with the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh memorandum dated January 15, 2025, to facilitate proper Hajj management.

Subject: Performing Hajj 1446 Hijri/2025 under Private Management.
In this regard, the memorandum dated January 15, 2025, from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Ref. No. 16.00.0000.003.02.006.24-70, regarding the subject cited above, is enclosed herewith for your information and necessary action.

In the interest of proper Hajj management, instructions are given to take necessary measures to send the service fee equivalent to 1,50,000.00 (One Lakh Fifty Thousand) Taka in Saudi Riyals to the owner/authorized representative of the agency in Saudi Arabia under their own account, in accordance with relevant rules and regulations, for each registered Hajj pilgrim by the Hajj agencies for the Hajj season of 1446 Hijri/2025.
