Please refer to FE circular letter no. 18 dated November 16, 2017 in terms of which ADs without prior approval of Bangladesh Bank, had been given permission to open new LCs on behalf of importers who has bill of entry/certified invoices unmatched with IMPs (within stipulated time or the allowed extended period) to the tune of up to USD 200.00 or equivalent to other foreign currencies. 02) It has also mentioned in the above instructions that ADs shall continue its endeavor for matching such unmatched bill of entry within shortest time. 03) In this context, ADs shall match such unmatched bill of entry(ies)/certified invoice(s) within 31 July, 2019. After this period, the instructions mentioned in FE circular no.04 dated 05 March, 2005 will be applicable. 04) Other instructions regarding FE circular letter no. 18 dated November 16, 2017 will remain unchanged.
