FEPD Circular Letter No. 34: Inception of operations of Pangaon Inland Container Terminal, Keranigonj, Dhaka under Chittagong Port Authority
The Foreign Exchange Policy Department notifies authorized dealer banks that the Pangaon Inland Container Terminal in Keranigonj, Dhaka, under the Chittagong Port Authority, commenced operations on November 7, 2013. The National Board of Revenue has declared the terminal a warehouse station via Notification No. 321/2012/Customs dated November 27, 2012. Banks are advised to facilitate Letters of Credit issuance and other necessary arrangements for clients wishing to conduct import-export operations via this terminal, with operational guidelines attached from the Chittagong Port Authority.
