Dear Sirs,

Inception of operations of Pangaon Inland Container Terminal, Keranigonj, Dhaka under Chittagong Port Authority.

The construction of the Pangaon Inland Container Terminal under the Chittagong Port Authority in Keranigonj, Dhaka, commenced operations on November 7, 2013. Through Notification No. 321/2012/Customs dated November 27, 2012, issued by the National Board of Revenue, the Pangaon Inland Container Terminal has been declared as a Warehouse Station. The Chittagong Port Authority has also published notices in the media inviting opportunities to conduct import-export operations via waterways using the said terminal.

We advise you to take necessary arrangements, including the issuance/receipt of Letters of Credit, on behalf of customers interested in conducting import-export operations through the Pangaon Terminal. A copy of the outline of ship and yard operational activities of the said terminal and the relevant letter No. DT/ICD/106(Part-3)/1629 dated November 25, 2013, from the Chittagong Port Authority is enclosed herewith for your information and necessary action.
