Authorized Dealers may now provide Export Development Fund loans to member mills of the Bangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association for bulk imports of raw materials destined for local deliveries to manufacturer-exporters against inland back-to-back letters of credit. The loan amount is capped at whichever is lower: the foreign exchange value realized from such deliveries over the preceding twelve months or USD 1.00 million. Provisions in FE Circular No. 25 dated December 22, 2009, and FE Circular No. 21 dated November 14, 2011, remain unchanged.
