Please refer to paragraph 3, chapter-12 of Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions (GFET)’2009 (Vol-1) permitting Authorized Dealers (ADs) to release foreign exchange of govt./ semi- govt. official for official/semi-official visit abroad. 2. It has now been decided that ADs may release foreign exchange on account of overseas allowances of the cockpit and cabin crews allowed by Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd. Before releasing foreign exchange, ADs shall observe the following instructions: a) An approval letter from Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd. in favour of the crews specifying the amount to be released should be obtained. b) The amount released should be endorsed properly on the passport of the crews. 3. Licensed Money Changers may also release foreign exchange for above purpose observing the instructions as laid down at paragraph 2 above.
