Attention of the Authorized Dealers (ADs) is invited to the Paragraph-8, Chapter-11 of Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions (GFET), 2009 (Volume-1) and FE Circular No.06, Date: April 15, 2013 in terms of which foreign nationals who are resident in and have income in Bangladesh are permitted to make monthly remittances to the country of their domicile out of their current savings up to 75% of their net income to cover their commitments abroad. 2. It has now been decided that besides their country of domicile, such monthly remittances may be sent to other countries where family members of them live in as declared by them in the prescribed application form (as per paragraph 2(e) of Appendix 5/63 of GFET’ 2009 (Volume-1)). 3. Other instructions contained in the Paragraph-8, Chapter-11 of GFET’ 2009 (Volume-1) and FE Circular No.06, Date: April 15, 2013 shall remained unchanged.
