Scheduled banks in Bangladesh are required to open bank accounts for residents of the Angorpota, Dohogram, and 111 newly included enclaves integrated into mainland Bangladesh with a minimum deposit of 10 Taka. Banks must not charge any service fees or commissions for opening or managing these accounts and must submit quarterly reports using the designated format prescribed by GBCSRD Circular No. 03. This directive is effective immediately.

FID Circular No. 02 Date: 19 Srabon 1422 03 August 2015 Managing Director / Chief Executive All Scheduled Banks operating in Bangladesh Regarding opening bank accounts for dwellers of Angorpota, Dohogram, and 111 newly included enclaves in mainland Bangladesh under the official account number with a minimum deposit of 10 Taka.
To ensure access to financial services for the dwellers of the 111 newly included enclaves integrated into mainland Bangladesh along with Angorpota and Dohogram, with the aim of improving their quality of life, it has been decided to open bank accounts with a minimum deposit of 10 Taka. Necessary measures regarding this matter must be taken through nearby bank branches of the said areas.
In accordance with the instructions of GBCSRD Circular No. 03 dated 09 April 2015, a report on "Accounts of Newly Included Enclave Dwellers" must be submitted quarterly using the specified format.
No service charges or fees shall be levied for opening and operating such accounts.
This instruction shall take immediate effect.
