FID Circular No. 02: Opening Bank Accounts for Dwellers of Angorpota-Dohogram and Newly Included 111 Enclaves in Bangladesh
Scheduled banks in Bangladesh are required to open bank accounts for residents of the Angorpota, Dohogram, and 111 newly included enclaves integrated into mainland Bangladesh with a minimum deposit of 10 Taka. Banks must not charge any service fees or commissions for opening or managing these accounts and must submit quarterly reports using the designated format prescribed by GBCSRD Circular No. 03. This directive is effective immediately.
