Final Order of Dismissal
The Florida Office of Financial Regulation issued this order to formally conclude the administrative proceeding against loan originator Charles Clayton Greene. The agency dismissed the previously issued Notice of Intent to Deny Greene's license renewal application because it had already approved the renewal on January 2, 2025. FINAL ORDER This cause came on for consideration and final agency action. Upon review of the record and being otheiwise fully advised in the premises, the Office of Financial Regulation ("Office") hereby finds:
- The Office has jurisdiction over the subject matter of this case and the parties hereto.
- On April 26, 2024, a Notice of Intent to Deny Application for Renewal of Loan Originator License ("Denial Notice") was issued to Charles Clayton Greene ("Petitioner") by certified U.S. Mail to the address on record with the Office.
- Petitioner submitted a timely Election of Proceeding form ("Petition") requesting a hearing pursuant to section 120.57(2), Florida Statutes.
- On January 2, 2025, the Office approved Petitioner's application to renew his loan originator license (License Number 1029122), thereby rendering moot the pending action to deny his application.
- The entry of this Final Order shall conclude the above-referenced administrative proceeding. ORDERED: The Notice of Intent to Deny previously issued in the above-styled cause is hereby DISMISSED and the matter is closed with no further action.
