Financial and Corporate Service Providers (Anti Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism) (Amendment) Rules, 2020
These Rules amend Rule 12 of the Financial and Corporate Service Providers (Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism) Rules, 2019, by replacing the requirement for a correct permanent address with a mandate to collect at least two current means of contact. The specified contact methods include personal or business email addresses, mobile or landline telephone numbers, and various mailing addresses such as personal, business, or residential locations. S.I. No. 79 of 2020 The Inspector, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(6) of the Financial and Corporate Service Providers Act, (Ch. 369) makes the following Rules —

Page - 2 FINANCIAL AND CORPORATE SERVICE PROVIDERS ACT (CHAPTER 369) FINANCIAL AND CORPORATE SERVICE PROVIDERS (ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND COUNTERING THE FINANCING OF TERRORISM) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2020 These Rules which amend the Financial and Corporate Service Providers (AntiMoney Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism) Rules 20191, may be cited as the Financial and Corporate Service Providers (Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism) (Amendment) Rules,
Rule 12 of the Financial and Corporate Service Providers (Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism) Rules, 2019 is amended in subparagraph (1)(a) by the deletion of the words “(ii) correct permanent address;” and the substitution as follows — 1 S.I. No. 11 of 2015. “(ii) at least two current means of contact which may include – (aa) personal email address; (bb) business email address; (cc) personal mobile telephone number; (dd) personal landline number; (ee) business landline number;
