Government Decree 153/2020/ND-CP on Private Placement and International Offering of Corporate Bonds
The Government of Vietnam issued Decree 153/2020/ND-CP to regulate the private placement and trading of corporate bonds within the domestic market, as well as the international offering of corporate bonds. This decree establishes the legal framework for bond issuance activities and took effect on January 1, 2021. It supersedes previous regulations to provide a comprehensive set of rules for corporate bond transactions in Vietnam.
Government Decree No. 153/2020/ND-CP dated December 31, 2020, stipulates the conditions for the private placement and trading of corporate bonds in the domestic market and the offering of corporate bonds to the international market.
The Decree takes effect from January 1, 2021.
