The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka directs the Colombo Stock Exchange to amend Rule 2.1.3 c of its Listing Rules regarding the Diri Savi Board. The amendment establishes a requirement that at least 10% of total shares must be held by a minimum of 200 Public Shareholders at the time of listing. This directive is effective immediately and applies to all methods of listing on the Diri Savi Board.

To: The Colombo Stock Exchange
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) after much deliberation and public consultation has decided to increase the minimum number of public shareholders required for listing on the Diri Savi Board.
Therefore the Colombo Stock Exchange is hereby directed to amend Rule 2.1.3 c of the Listing Rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange on the Public Holding requirement on the Diri Savi Board to have a minimum Public Holding of 10% of the total number of shares at the time of listing to be held by a minimum of 200 Public Shareholders.
This directive shall be effective from the date hereof and shall be applicable to all methods of listing on the Diri Savi Board.
