MODIFICATION to the General Provisions on the Operations of the Retirement Savings Systems

MODIFICATION TO THE GENERAL PROVISIONS ON THE OPERATIONS OF THE RETIREMENT SAVINGS SYSTEMS

CONSIDERING

That it is necessary for retirement fund administrators to have more time to adapt their technological infrastructure, systems and internal operations to comply with the general provisions on the operations of the Retirement Savings Systems, regarding the elimination of the Transfer Certificate Folio, and

That it is also necessary to extend the deadline granted to the companies operating the National SAR Database for the elimination of the Transfer Certificate. The foregoing to favor its correct implementation and reduce the incidence of inconsistencies and errors that could affect the interests of Workers, has resolved to issue the following:

MODIFICATION TO THE GENERAL PROVISIONS ON THE OPERATIONS OF THE RETIREMENT SAVINGS SYSTEMS

SINGLE. - Article 1, paragraph two, fraction I, of the Transitional Provisions, of the Modifications and additions to the general provisions on the operations of the retirement savings systems published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on May 15, 2020, is MODIFIED, to read as follows:

The modifications and derogatory actions, relating to the elimination of the Transfer Certificate Folio, will enter into force on February 18, 2021.

II. ... "

TRANSITIONAL

SINGLE. - This modification will enter into force on the business day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

With the entry into force of this modification, all those provisions that contravene these are repealed.
