OF THE

SINGLE

INSURANCE

AND

SURETY

(Circular Provision 39.6.2)

The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, based on the provisions of articles 366, fraction II; 372, fractions VI and XLII; 373; and 381 of the Law of Insurance Institutions and Sureties, and

CONSIDERING

That article 389 of the Law of Insurance Institutions and Sureties states that Institutions and Mutual Societies, as well as other persons and entities subject to the inspection and surveillance of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, must provide it with the information and documentation required for regulatory, supervisory, control, inspection, surveillance, statistical, and other functions it is responsible for exercising, in the form and terms established by general provisions for this purpose.

That article 367 of the Law of Insurance Institutions and Sureties provides that the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, for the exercise of its powers, will have regional delegations which may perform, within their geographical jurisdiction, the functions determined in their Internal Regulations.

That Circular Provision 39.6.2 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular establishes the hours, days of service, and location of the Office of the Parties of this Decentralized Body, as well as those of its Regional Delegations, so that Institutions, Mutual Societies, and other persons and entities subject to its inspection and surveillance can deliver the information required of them.

That the Board of Directors of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, in its session 219 held on December 11, 2020, approved the "Agreement of the Board of Directors of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties by which the number, headquarters, and territorial jurisdiction of the regional delegations are defined," which updates the name of the Regional Delegations of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties due to the change of headquarters of the Regional Delegations in Monterrey and Veracruz.

In view of the foregoing, this Commission has resolved to issue the following modification to the Single Insurance and Surety Circular in the terms specified below:

MODIFYING CIRCULAR 2/21 OF THE SINGLE INSURANCE AND SURETY CIRCULAR (Circular Provision 39.6.2)

SINGLE.- Circular Provision 39.6.2, fraction III, subsections a), b), c), d), e), and f), of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular is modified, to read as follows:

III. Regarding the information referred to in article 389 of the LISF, other legal, regulatory, and administrative provisions, as well as Titles 32, 33, and 36 of these Provisions, which require physical delivery at the Commission's facilities, the presentation shall be made at any of the following Commission offices:

a) Office of the Parties of the Commission, located at Fernando Villalpando No. 18, Colonia Guadalupe Inn, Postal Code 01020, Mexico City; with hours from 9:00 to 15:00 hours, on business days;

b) Jalisco Regional Delegation, located at Avenida Vallarta No. 1540, Interior 301, Colonia Americana, Postal Code 44140, Guadalajara, Jalisco; with hours from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, on business days;

c) Sonora Regional Delegation, located at Paseo Río Sonora No. 205 and Galeana, Bldg. 109°28' Workspace Río, Floor 2, Premises 204 and 205, Colonia Proyecto Río Sonora, Postal Code 83270, Hermosillo, Sonora; with hours from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, on business days;

d) Yucatán Regional Delegation, located at Av. Prolongación Paseo de Montejo, No. 33, Plaza Península, Interior 3, 4th Floor, Colonia Benito Juárez, Postal Code 97119, Mérida, Yucatán; with hours from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, on business days;

e) Nuevo León Regional Delegation, located at Av. Lázaro Cárdenas No. 2424, Pte. Trébol Park, Local 11, Colonia Residencial San Agustín, Postal Code 66206, San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León; with hours from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, on business days; and

f) Veracruz Regional Delegation, located at Blvd. Adolfo Ruíz Cortínez No. 4750, Plaza Vela, Third Level, Local 311, Colonia Mocambo, Postal Code 94293, Boca del Río, Veracruz; with hours from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, on business days.

TRANSITORY.

SINGLE.- This Modifying Circular shall enter into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

The foregoing is made known to you based on the provisions of articles 366, fraction II; 372, fractions VI and XLII; 373; and 381 of the Law of Insurance Institutions and Sureties.
