BRANCH ACTIVITY State Bank Activity
Section 36a-145 of the Connecticut General Statutes requires certain applications for a branch, or for a limited branch at which loans will be made, be accompanied by a plan detailing how adequate services to meet the banking needs of all community residents will be provided. Plans are submitted when such applications are filed and are available for public inspection and comment at this Department for a period of 30 days. MERGER AND ACQUISITION
On April 1, 2009, pursuant to Section 36a-198 of the Connecticut General Statutes, Collinsville Savings Mutual Holding Company , a Connecticut mutual holding company that owns 100% of the stock of Collinsville Savings Society , a Connecticut bank, filed an application for the establishment of a subsidiary holding company, to be known as Collinsville Stock Holding Company , in connection with a transaction involving the merger of Collinsville Savings Mutual Holding Company with and into Connecticut Mutual Holding Company , a Connecticut mutual holding company that owns 100% of the stock of Northwest Community Bank and Litchfield Bancorp , both Connecticut banks. In accordance with Section 36a-194 of the Connecticut General Statutes, Connecticut Mutual Holding Company filed an acquisition statement pursuant to Section 36a-184 for the indirect acquisition of Collinsville Stock Holding Company and Collinsville Savings Society through the merger of Collinsville Savings Mutual Holding Company with and into Connecticut Mutual Holding Company .
