NOTICE ADDRESSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC INFORMING THAT THE AUTHORIZATION GRANTED TO CARRY OUT THE ORGANIZATION, OPERATION AND FUNCTIONING OF LIBERTY SEGUROS, S.A. DE C.V., DID NOT TAKE EFFECT.

By Official Letter 06-C00-41100-04125/2021 dated March 9, 2021, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation of June 30, 2021, this Commission, prior agreement of its Governing Board, authorized Liberty Mutual Latin Holdings, LLC. and Liberty Mutual Services, LLC., to carry out the organization, operation and functioning of LIBERTY SEGUROS, S.A. DE C.V., in accordance with the provisions of Articles 11 and 12 of the Law of Insurance and Sureties Institutions, said authorization was subject to obtaining the favorable opinion referred to in the first paragraph of Article 47 of the cited Law.

Regarding this matter, it is made known to the general public that LIBERTY SEGUROS, S.A. DE C.V., did not comply with the condition referred to in the previous paragraph, therefore the authorization granted to that society did not take effect.

The foregoing based on Articles 11, 12, 47, 366, 372, fractions II, XXXIX and XLI, 373 and 381 of the Law of Insurance and Sureties Institutions.
