Notice Announcing Annual and Monthly Inspection and Supervision Fees for Insurance Institutions for the 2018 Fiscal Year

NOTICE through which the annual and monthly fees that institutions must pay for inspection and supervision fees of the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, corresponding to the 2018 fiscal year, are made known.

Insurance Institutions and Mutual Insurance Societies.

This Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, through the General Legal Directorate of Insurance, Sureties and Pensions of the Insurance, Pensions and Social Security Unit, based on what is provided in article 30 of the Federal Rights Law, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon the head of said General Directorate by article 36, fraction VI, of the Internal Regulations of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, considering the information provided by the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, makes known to you the annual and monthly fees that you must pay for inspection and supervision fees, corresponding to the 2018 fiscal year, with a global amount of 479.2 million pesos, according to the relationship attached and which forms part of this notice.

These fees:

1. Will be calculated from January 1, 2018.

2. Will be paid to the Federal Treasury through the e5cinco payment system by electronic transfer, in accordance with the procedure in force.

3. Must be covered one month in advance, within the first five days of each month.

Insurance institutions and mutual insurance societies must submit their proof of payment to the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties no later than the 15th day of the respective month, in terms of article 4, third paragraph, of the Federal Rights Law, at the offices of said Commission, located at Fernando Villalpando Street No. 18, Guadalupe Inn Neighborhood, Álvaro Obregón Delegation, Postal Code 01020, in Mexico City, and if they do not comply within the established deadline for payment, they must add to the amount to be paid the corresponding update amounts and surcharges.
