Notice Announcing the Amount Resulting from the Independent Expert's Review Referenced in the Fourth Provision of the Agreement on Federal Government Assumption of CFE Pension Obligations

NOTICE announcing the amount resulting from the review by the independent expert referred to in the Fourth Provision of the Agreement issuing general provisions regarding the assumption by the Federal Government of payment obligations for pensions and retirements borne by the Federal Electricity Commission, published on November 14, 2016.

OSCAR ERNESTO VELA TREVIÑO, Head of the Insurance, Pensions and Social Security Unit of the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit; and ALBERTO TORRES GARCÍA, Head of the Public Credit Unit of the same Department; under the authority of Articles 31, fractions V, VI and XXXIV, of the Organic Law of the Federal Public Administration; Fourth Transitory Provision of the Decree reforming, adding and repealing various provisions of the Federal Budget and Fiscal Responsibility Law and the Federal Public Debt Law, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on August 11, 2014; 2nd, first paragraph, of the Federal Revenue Law for the Fiscal Year 2016; Fourth Provision, second paragraph, of the Agreement issuing general provisions regarding the assumption by the Federal Government of payment obligations for pensions and retirements borne by the Federal Electricity Commission, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on November 14, 2016; and 17, fractions VIII, X and XXXI and 32, fraction XXXIII, subsections c), f), g) and i) of the Internal Regulations of the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit, issue the following:

NOTICE ANNOUNCING THE AMOUNT RESULTING FROM THE REVIEW BY THE INDEPENDENT EXPERT REFERRED TO IN THE FOURTH PROVISION OF THE AGREEMENT ISSUING GENERAL PROVISIONS REGARDING THE ASSUMPTION BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF PAYMENT OBLIGATIONS FOR PENSIONS AND RETIREMENTS BORNE BY THE FEDERAL ELECTRICITY COMMISSION, PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE OF THE FEDERATION ON NOVEMBER 14, 2016

In compliance with the Fourth Provision of the "Agreement issuing general provisions regarding the assumption by the Federal Government of payment obligations for pensions and retirements borne by the Federal Electricity Commission", published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on November 14, 2016, the amount resulting from the review by the independent expert calculated as of December 16, 2016 is published, which amounts to $161,080,204,452.07 (one hundred sixty-one million eighty thousand two hundred four thousand four hundred fifty-two pesos 07/100 M.N.) in present value.
