Notices from the Bank of Portugal Notice No. 4/2003 Considering the amendments introduced into the General Regime of Credit Institutions and Financial Societies by Decree-Law No. 201/2002, of September 26; The Bank of Portugal, using the competence conferred upon it by letter d) of Article 99 and by paragraph 1 of Article 196 of that General Regime, establishes the following: 1.º Paragraph 2 of Notice No. 10/94, published in the Diário da República, 2nd series, of November 18, 1994, shall have the following wording: “2.º The institutions of credit and the financial societies referred to in letters a) to g) and j) of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the General Regime [...] are subject to the discipline of this notice.” 2.º Group purchasing administration societies existing at the date of entry into force of Decree-Law No. 201/2002, of September 26, remain subject to the discipline of Notice No. 10/94. 3.º This notice enters into force on the day following its publication.
