Notice on the Initiation of Draft Amendment to Law No. 181/2023 on Participatory Financing Services

The National Financial Market Commission (CNPF) of Moldova has initiated the drafting process for a bill amending Law No. 181/2023 on participatory financing services to transpose EU Regulation 2020/1503 on European crowdfunding service providers. Stakeholders are invited to submit proposals and suggestions regarding the draft legislation by 7 July 2026 via postal mail or email. The regulatory update aligns Moldovan national law with EU acquis and aims to streamline the legislative drafting process through public consultation.

The National Financial Market Commission (CNPF), pursuant to Article 20(1)(a) of Law No. 100/2017 on normative acts, announces the initiation of the process for drafting the bill amending Law No. 181/2023 on participatory financing services.

The initiation of amendments to this normative act stems from commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova to align national legislation with the EU acquis, specifically the transposition of Regulation (EU) 2020/1503 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 October 2020 on European crowdfunding service providers for businesses and amending Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 and Directive (EU) 2019/1937.

In order to streamline the drafting process of the aforementioned bill, stakeholders are invited to submit proposals and suggestions, by 7 July 2026 , to the postal address: 77 Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd., MD-2012, Chișinău municipality, or to the email address: office@cnpf.md
