The National Banking and Securities Commission modifies the name of Banco S3 Mexico, S.A. to Banco S3 Caceis Mexico, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette and two widely circulated newspapers. The institution is required to inform the authority of the publication date within fifteen business days of the official letter's publication and to complete the required newspaper publications within fifteen business days of receiving the letter.

By official letter 312-3/0181/2020 dated August 10, 2020, this Commission approved the reform to Article First of the bylaws of Banco S3 Mexico, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution, due to the modification of its corporate name to Banco S3 Caceis Mexico, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution, in accordance with the minutes of the extraordinary general shareholders' meeting held on February 13, 2020.
With a submission presented to this Commission on September 10, 2020, through the email VPSupervisionGIFA@cnbv.gob.mx and in compliance with the requirement contained in the aforementioned official letter, a copy of public deed 96,228 dated August 28, 2020, granted before the notary public Lic. Roberto Garzón Jiménez, notary public number 242 of Mexico City, and registered in the Public Commerce Registry of this same city on September 1, 2020, under electronic commercial folio N-2017062112, was remitted to this Commission, in which the aforementioned bylaw modification was formalized.
Therefore, and based on Article 8, last paragraph of the Credit Institutions Law, this Commission deems it appropriate to modify Base First of the "Authorization for the organization and operation of a multiple banking institution Subsidiary to be named Banco S3 Mexico, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution," contained in official letter P063/2016 issued by this Commission on August 25, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on September 14, 2016, last modified by official letter 312-1/66270/2018 dated April 27, 2018, and published in said Gazette on May 17, 2018, to read as follows:
"FIRST.- The corporate name of the company shall be Banco S3 Caceis Mexico, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution."
Likewise, based on Articles 8, last paragraph, and 97 of the Credit Institutions Law and 19 of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law, Banco S3 Caceis Mexico, S.A., Multiple Banking Institution is required to inform this authority of the date of publication of the text of this modification official letter in the Official Gazette of the Federation and in two widely circulated newspapers at its corporate address, within a period of fifteen business days counted from the date of publication. These publications must be processed within the fifteen business days following the date of receipt of this official letter.
This official letter is issued based on Articles 16, penultimate paragraph of the National Banking and Securities Commission Law; and 12, 17, fraction X, 19, fractions I, subsection c), II and III, last paragraph, and 40, fractions I and IV of the Internal Regulations of the National Banking and Securities Commission.
