OFFICIAL LETTER NO. 06-C00-41100-18502/2021 BY WHICH THE FEES THAT INSURANCE INSTITUTIONS AND MUTUAL INSURANCE SOCIETIES MUST PAY FOR INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION RIGHTS OF THE NATIONAL COMMISSION OF INSURANCE AND GUARANTEES, CORRESPONDING TO THE 2021 FISCAL YEAR, ARE MADE KNOWN

INSURANCE INSTITUTIONS AND MUTUAL INSURANCE SOCIETIES

This National Commission of Insurance and Guarantees, based on the provisions of Articles 3 and 30 of the Federal Rights Law; 366, fractions I and XXXIX, 372, fractions II, III and XLIII, 381 and 392 of the Law of Insurance Institutions and Guarantees; 4 fraction II, and 9 of the Internal Regulations of the National Commission of Insurance and Guarantees, makes known to you the annual and monthly fees that must be paid for inspection and supervision rights corresponding to the 2021 fiscal year, for a global amount of $650,100,000.00 (Six hundred fifty million one hundred thousand pesos 00/100 M.N.), in accordance with the attached document which forms part of this official letter.

These fees:

I.

Shall be computed from January 1, 2021.

II.

Shall be deposited to the Treasury of the Federation through the E5five payment system by electronic transfer, in accordance with the procedure in force.

III.

Shall be covered by month in advance within the first five days of each month.

Insurance institutions and mutual insurance societies must present their payment receipts to this National Commission of Insurance and Guarantees no later than the 15th day of the respective month, in terms of the third paragraph of Article 4 of the Federal Rights Law, at the offices located at Fernando Villalpando Street No. 18, Guadalupe Inn Neighborhood, Álvaro Obregón Municipality, Postal Code 01020, in Mexico City. If compliance is not met within the established deadline for deposit, the corresponding updates and surcharges must be paid.

The following insurance institutions, in addition to covering the fees indicated in the attached document, must cover the amounts corresponding to the issuance of guarantees, in accordance with Article 31 of the Federal Rights Law:
