ON FURTHER MEASURES TO STRENGTHEN CONFIDENCE IN THE BANKING SYSTEM OF THE POPULATION AND BUSINESS ENTITIES

This resolution has lost force pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 27 September 2020 No. PF-6075 "On Measures to Improve the Business Environment in the Country by Introducing a System for Reviewing Legislation That Has Lost Force".
For the purpose of further increasing the capitalization level of commercial banks, strengthening confidence in the banking system of the population and business entities, legalizing their incomes, increasing the volume of deposits in deposit accounts, as well as reducing the circulation of cash outside banks:

strengthen control over the execution of legislative acts on banking secrecy regarding preventing interference in the activities of banks and other credit organizations, as well as illegally demanding information constituting banking secrecy;
hold accountable guilty officials violating the requirements of this resolution in the established manner.
within two weeks, jointly with the Prosecutor General's Office, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Finance, and other interested ministries and departments, submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers on changes and additions to legislative acts arising from this resolution;
ensure alignment of normative documents of ministries and departments with this resolution.
