The National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) informs that the revocation of the authorization for the organization and operation of Vector Casa de Bolsa, S.A. de C.V., was due to the voluntary request made by said entity and in accordance with the agreement adopted by its Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting, held on November 26 of the current year.
The determination made by the partners of said brokerage firm was driven exclusively by their interests, and therefore has no relation to the measures adopted by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
The request for revocation was submitted to the CNBV on December 1 of last month, which was duly integrated and formally met the legal and documentary requirements established in the applicable regulations. In this regard, on December 12, the CNBV Board of Directors determined that, from a legal, financial, and operational standpoint, it was appropriate to resolve favorably the revocation of the authorization granted to the financial entity. oooOooo
