PSD Circular Letter No. 01: Change in BACH and RTGS Schedule during the month of Holy Ramadan of Hijri 1445

Dear Sir,

Regarding the determination of the schedule for BACH and RTGS transactions during the month of Holy Ramadan of Hijri 1445 (2024 AD).

Except for weekly and government holidays during the month of Holy Ramadan of Hijri 1445 (2024 AD), the operations of Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) will be conducted according to the schedule specified below on other working days.

1. Transactions of Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH): a) Clearing hours for BACH -

• Morning Session: 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
• Afternoon Session: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM b) The three sessions of RTGS on the relevant days will remain open according to the pre-Ramadan schedule.

2. Transactions of Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS): a) Customer Transactions (Circular No. 008) - 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM b) Customs Duty E-Payment (Circular No. 008 Rev. 41) - 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM c) Interbank Fund Transfer (Circular No. 009) and Return (Circular No. 004) - 9:30 AM to 3:45 PM

After the completion of the Holy Ramadan month, the transaction schedule for BACH and RTGS will return to the pre-Ramadan schedule.
