PSD Circular Letter No. 01: Change in BACH and RTGS Schedule during the month of Holy Ramadan of Hijri 1445
The document establishes the operating hours for Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) transactions during the month of Holy Ramadan in Hijri 1445 (2024), excluding weekly and government holidays. For BACH, clearing hours are adjusted to 11:30 AM–1:30 PM and 12:00 PM–3:00 PM, while RTGS sessions for customer transactions, customs duty e-payments, and interbank fund transfers are scheduled between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM. These adjusted schedules apply to all scheduled banks, financial institutions, and Bangladesh Cooperative Bank Limited, reverting to pre-Ramadan timings after the month concludes.
