Dear Sir,

Regarding the determination of the schedule for BACH and RTGS transactions during the holy month of Ramadan in Hijri 1444 (2023 CE).

On days other than weekly and government holidays during the holy month of Ramadan in Hijri 1444, the operations of the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) will be conducted according to the schedule listed below.

1. Transactions of the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH): a) BACH Clearing Sessions:

   • Morning Session: 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM
   • Afternoon Session: 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM b) On the aforementioned days, two sessions of BACH will remain open according to the previously established schedule.

2. Transactions of the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS): a) Customer Transactions (Circular No. 008) - 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM b) Customs Duty E-Payment (Circular No. 008 Rev. 41) - 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM c) Interbank Fund Transfer (Circular No. 009) and Return (Circular No. 004) - 9:30 AM to 3:45 PM

After the holy month of Ramadan is over, the transaction schedules for BACH and RTGS will return to the pre-Ramadan schedule.
