PSD Circular Letter No. 02: Change in BACH and RTGS Schedule
The document establishes the operating schedules for the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) systems during the holy month of Ramadan in Hijri 1444 (2023 CE), excluding weekends and public holidays. BACH clearing sessions are adjusted to run from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, while RTGS customer transactions operate from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, customs e-payments from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and interbank fund transfers from 9:30 AM to 3:45 PM. The standard BACH and RTGS schedules will resume immediately after the conclusion of the Ramadan month.
