PSD Circular Letter No. 06: Change in BACH and RTGS Schedule

Dear Sir,

Regarding the schedule for BACH and RTGS.

Following the instructions of Circular Letter No. 31 dated 22 August 2022 of the Department of Offsite Supervision, until further notice, the operations of the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) (BACH and EFT) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) will be conducted according to the schedule given below on days other than weekly and government holidays.

1. Transactions of Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH): a) BACH Clearing House Hours - Morning Session - 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM Afternoon Session - 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM b) The two sessions of EFT will remain open according to the previous schedule.

2. Transactions of Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS): a) All transactions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM b) Customs Duty E-Payment (Ref: 008), Inter-bank Fund Transfer (Ref: 009) and Government Payment (Ref: 004) from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM c) Inter-bank Fund Transfer (Ref: 009) and Government Payment (Ref: 004) from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM

These instructions will be effective from 24 August 2022.
