PSD Circular Letter No. 06: Change in BACH and RTGS Schedule
The document establishes operating schedules for the Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) systems for days other than weekly or government holidays. BACH Clearing House (BACH) transactions are scheduled from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, while BACH EFT transactions continue according to the previous schedule. RTGS transactions are processed from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with specific categories including Customs Duty E-Payment, inter-bank fund transfers, and government payments operating from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and inter-bank fund transfers and government payments extending from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM. These instructions become effective on August 24, 2022.
