PSD Circular Letter No. 07: Change in BACH and RTGS Schedule

Payment Systems Department PSD Circular Letter No.-07 Date: 25 Kartik 1429 10 November 2022 Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer All Scheduled Banks, All Authorized Institutions and Bangladesh Cooperative Bank Limited Dear Sir, Regarding the schedule of Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS). Following the instructions of the Off-Site Supervision Department's Circular Letter No.-35 dated 03 November 2022, until further notice, BACH (BACH and BACHS) and RTGS operations will be conducted on working days other than weekly holidays and government holidays according to the schedule below.

1. Transactions of Bangladesh Automated Clearing House (BACH): a) BACH Clearing House (BACH) timing -

• Weekdays: 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM,
• Saturdays: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM b) BACH Settlement (BACHS) timing -
• Weekdays: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM,
• Saturdays: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM c) Two sessions of BACHS on suitable days will remain open according to the previous schedule.

2. Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) transactions: a) All transactions from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM b) Customs Duty E-Payment (Ref: 008), Inter-bank Fund Transfer (Ref: 009) and Intraday Liquidity Management (Ref: 004) from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM c) Inter-bank Fund Transfer (Ref: 009) and Intraday Liquidity Management (Ref: 004) from 4:30 PM to 4:45 PM This instruction will be effective from 15 November 2022.
