Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer All Mobile Financial Services Providers, Payment System Operators, Payment Service Providers operating in Bangladesh

Dear Sir,

Context regarding the closure of Mobile Financial Services Providers (MFS), Payment System Operators (PSO), and Payment Service Providers (PSP) establishments in the relevant election areas on the day of voting, 17 July 2023, for the by-election to National Parliament Constituency 190 (Dhaka-17).

In continuation of the notification number-05.00.0000.173.08.002.18-116 dated 12 July 2023 from the Ministry of Public Administration and DOS Circular No.-19 dated 13 July 2023 from the Department of Offsite Supervision of Bangladesh Bank, all MFS, PSO, and PSP establishments located in the relevant election areas on Monday, 17 July 2023, the day of voting for the by-election to National Parliament Constituency 190 (Dhaka-17), shall remain closed.

2. Essential departments of the main offices (if any) of MFS, PSO, and PSP establishments located in National Parliament Constituency 190 election area may remain open on a limited basis.
