Scheduled banks in Bangladesh, including Bangladesh Bank, must observe 24 public holidays during 2014 as specified by Government Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.005.12-237 dated 08-10-2013. The designated holidays include Eid-e-Miladun-Nabi on 14 January, Independence Day on 26 March, and Eid-ul-Fitr from 28 to 30 July, among others listed in the circular.
