Public Notice No. 11 of 2026 – Revocation of Elliott Lockhart & Co. Corporate Services License

The Securities Commission of The Bahamas revoked the corporate services license of Elliott B. Lockhart T/A Lockhart & Co. with immediate effect on 25 September 2025 pursuant to sections 35(a) and 35(j) of the Financial and Corporate Service Providers Act 2020. The firm is no longer authorized to provide corporate services in The Bahamas and was ordered to cease all operations immediately. Clients are advised to make alternative arrangements, and the Commission warns that conducting licensed activities without authorization constitutes a criminal offense under section 46 of the Act.

SECURITIES COMMISSION OF THE BAHAMAS PUBLIC NOTICE No. 11 of 2026 2 September 2026 RE: Revocation of Elliott Lockhart & Co. Corporate Services License This NOTICE is issued by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas (“the Commission”) pursuant to its authority under the Financial and Corporate Service Providers Act 2020 (“the Act”). The Commission hereby gives NOTICE that the license issued to Elliott B. Lockhart T/A Lockhart & Co. (“Lockhart & Co.”), of 35 Buen Retiro Road, Nassau, The Bahamas, to provide corporate services thereunder, was on 25 September 2025, revoked with immediate effect, pursuant to sections 35(a) and 35(j) of the Act. Consequences of Revocation As a result of this revocation:

  1. Lockhart & Co. is no longer authorized to provide corporate services in The Bahamas;
  2. The firm was ordered to cease all corporate service operations immediately; and
  3. Clients of Lockhart & Co. are advised to make alternative arrangements for corporate services. The Commission cautions that any person who conducts any activity requiring a license under the Act, without being duly licensed to do so, commits and offence and is liable to criminal prosecution pursuant to section 46 of the Act. The public is reminded that listings of the Commission’s registrants and licensees that are authorized to engage in regulated activities, in The Bahamas, are located on the Commission’s website at https://www.scb.gov.bs/registrant-licensee-search/.
