The Reserve Bank establishes a mutual undertaking with regulated entities to build and maintain supervisory relationships based on honesty, diligence, achievement focus, open-mindedness, and professionalism. The Charter defines expected behaviors and communication standards, requiring clear, targeted, consistent, and timely interactions without surprises. The Reserve Bank commits to regularly measuring its performance against these commitments and sharing lessons learned with the regulated entities.
Relationship Charter. The Reserve Bank aspires to build and maintain the best ‘regulator/regulated’ supervisory relationships possible, with all the different regulated entities. This Charter represents a mutual undertaking of how the parties will work together to achieve this aspiration. We will regularly measure our performance against the commitments set out in the Charter and share the lessons.
