Renaming of Markup Subsidy and Risk Sharing Scheme for Affordable Housing Finance

Islamabad, the 26th March, 2026

NOTIFICATION

In continuation of this Ministry's Notification of even number dated 12th March 2026, whereby revised features of the Mark-up Subsidy Scheme were notified, it is hereby conveyed that the Prime Minister has approved the renaming of the Scheme.

2. The Scheme, previously titled "Mera Ghar – Mera Ashiana", shall henceforth be known as:

"Wazir-e-Azam Apna Ghar Program – Ghar Ho Tu Apna"

3. All concerned stakeholders including State Bank of Pakistan, Ministry of Finance, Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation and Participating Financial Institutions are requested to take note of the above change and ensure that all official correspondence, notifications, advertisements, and related documents shall reflect the revised name of the Scheme with immediate effect.
