This circular specifies the documentation required from Financial Intermediation Entities (FIEs) interested in acting as mandataries for the sale of dollar-denominated bonds issued by the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB). FIEs must submit items such as their Public Deed of Incorporation, updated Bylaws, valid Commercial Registry, Tax Identification Number, operating license, and legal representation power. All required documents, along with a contract subscription request, must be presented to the BCB's Monetary Operations Management.
EXTERNAL CIRCULAR La Paz, April 5, 2024 CIEX N° 8/2024 FROM: GENERAL MANAGEMENT MONETARY OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT TO: FINANCIAL INTERMEDIATION ENTITIES SUBJECT: REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION OF THE “MANDATE CONTRACT FOR THE SALE OF DOLLAR BONDS ISSUED BY THE CENTRAL BANK OF BOLIVIA” Gentlemen: The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB), within the framework of the “Economic, Productive and Business Agreement between the National Government and Bolivian Business Sector”, dated February 19, 2024, point 3 of which indicates the issuance of BCB Bonds in dollars, informs Financial Intermediation Entities (FIEs) interested in participating as Mandataries in the sale of the aforementioned Bond, of the requirements to be submitted for the subscription of the “Mandate Contract for the sale of dollar Bonds issued by the Central Bank of Bolivia”, with the following details:
