RESOLUTION modifying the Agreement by which the calendar is made known to initiate the process of certification of independent external auditors, internal auditors, compliance officers, representatives and other professionals in matters of prevention of operations with proceeds of illicit origin and terrorism financing.

The National Banking and Securities Commission, based on the provisions of articles 4, fractions X, X Bis, XXXVI and XXXVIII and 16, fraction I of the Law of the National Banking and Securities Commission, and

CONSIDERING

That it is necessary to modify the deadline for independent external auditors and internal auditors to be certified in matters of prevention of operations with proceeds of illicit origin and terrorism financing, taking into account the experience observed in the certification of other professionals and in order for them to have sufficient time to obtain it, has resolved to issue the following:

RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE AGREEMENT BY WHICH THE CALENDAR IS MADE KNOWN TO INITIATE THE PROCESS OF CERTIFICATION OF INDEPENDENT EXTERNAL AUDITORS, INTERNAL AUDITORS, COMPLIANCE OFFICERS, REPRESENTATIVES AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS IN MATTERS OF PREVENTION OF OPERATIONS WITH PROCEEDS OF ILLICIT ORIGIN AND TERRORISM FINANCING

SINGLE.- Article 3 of the "Agreement by which the calendar is made known to initiate the process of certification of independent external auditors, internal auditors, compliance officers, representatives and other professionals in matters of prevention of operations with proceeds of illicit origin and terrorism financing", published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on March 13, 2015 and modified by Resolution published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on June 9, 2016, is REFORMED, to read as follows:

"Article 3.- The independent external auditors and internal auditors referred to in Article 1 of this Agreement may initiate the certification process on any date; however, they must have the certificate referred to in the Provisions no later than June 29, 2018."

TRANSITORY

SINGLE.- This Resolution shall enter into force the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
